I prefer Goldmane, for his first two abilities. Plus you really cant beat a 400/400 Double strike flying Serra Avatar

Oh outa curiosity how has this deck been doing?

well i have yet to fully complete it, but it is 80% finished and in my games wins about 75-85% of the time. In a few months im going to test it out at FNM.

How about That Which Was Taken ? It's a tad expensive mana wise but it can possibly save you from dealing with destruction spells

Whatever works for you really, first encountered that card going up against my friend's samurai deck, my population deck got stomped by indestructible samurai goats of all things

ha, it happens. The main thing i do is boost up pallys and Pridemates, with amored ascension. One thing i've noticed is this deck is good at making comebacks. Destroyed my buddies vamp deck that way. also makes for really fun matches.

My brother tends to counter life gain decks and my vamp deck with his red/black, likes to use Rain of Gore a lot

yeah Rakdos shreds lifegain usually, its just too fast

Celestial Mantle , and Cradle of Vitality would be good if you could make room, and don't want to buy another Archangel of Thune . Cradle of Vitality would work well with Ajani's Pridemate
