Introduction

I can't take most of the credit for this deck, October of 2019, Merchant of Youtube/Twitch made a video about a zero rare Beamsplitter Mage deck. It was created prior to Ravnica Allegiance and War of the Spark sets had been released. I feel like this needs to be revisited, but as a less budgeted version with the addition of cards like Dreadhorde Arcanist and Samut's Sprint. I've currently have this converted into a Historic deck, but I may try it as a Pioneer deck as well.

Latest Updates (Sept. 2022)

• Balmor, Battlemage Captain replaces Lightning Stormkin
• Impulse replaces Deliberate
• Shore Up replaces You See a Guard Approach
• Slip Out the Back replaces Quasiduplicate
• Kaza, Roil Chaser and Expansion / Explosion get dropped to add playsets or 3-of's of other cards for better draw consistency.

The Pinball Wizards (Feature Cards)

The Multiball Bonus (Targeting Cards)

• Brute Strength is the best option only because you can cast before attacking letting the Arcanist attack ability will have a target in the graveyard.
• Samut's Sprint is such a good card, you can practically scry 4 with a Beamsplitter and an Arcanist on the board from first main phase to declaration of attackers.
• Shore Up gives a level of protection that helps better than You See a Guard Approach and Dive Down.

It's still very hit and miss, either it works amazingly or just doesn't get the right combination of cards to function.
