Boros aggro centered on the mentor mechanic. Many cards in this deck need to be removed fast, or the game will be over quickly. Mentoring Healer's Hawk can gain you a lot of life very fast. Swiftblade Vindicator can deal an insane amount of damage and eat just about anything, and Legion Warboss can pump out 1/1s very fast. Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice is a great finisher, and is also immune to Lava Coil . This deck just wants to attack every turn, and Luminous Bonds anything you don’t like.

I’ve played this deck in around fifteen fnm’s, and it’s performed pretty well, I’ve won twice, and gotten second five times. This deck is good against white or Boros weenie, Izzet drakes, and any deck that keeps a bad opener. It’s pretty bad against most midrange decks, and Wildgrowth Walker just annihilates it. Against esper control it probably loses, but with esper midrange you can sideboard in Deafening Clarion and kill all of their deputy’s.
