This deck works by controlling creatures main board first, or taxing their manabase. Then tutoring/dredging/drawing into the win condition in that order. As you can see from the high land count this deck is based around utility based lands. There is potential turn 3 win condition but generally it is a grindy deck and can go to time like the miracles deck does.

Sometimes games are won off the back off a soft lock. This can be done by repeatedly using Wasteland and tapping down their lands during upkeep with rishidan's port. Another brutal soft lock is Engineered Explosives with Academy Ruins. Post board games can be locked out with Chalice of the Void and Sphere of Resistance.

Creature Control: Grove of the Burnwillows + Punishing Fire , Glacial Chasm, or just Crop Rotation into a timely The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale , Karakas, or Maze of Ith.

Winning: The primary win condition is to win with the Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage combo. Plan B: If that fails there is the man land beat down route with Creeping Tar Pit. Plan C: Punishing Fire every turn for a net 1 damage.Plan D: Deck a person out recurring Mox Diamond with Academy Ruins.

Mana ramp: Exploration(hinge card) + Mox Diamond

Recursion: Life from the Loam(the deck's feature card) + Academy Ruins + Crucible of Worlds +

Tutor Package: Crop Rotation + Tolaria West + Intuition + Gamble

Combo decks are this decks worst nightmare so most of the sideboard is dedicated to that match up. Another tough match up is burn decks because Price of Progress hurts, which is where the singleton Zuran Orb comes in. Both of these matchups are not impossible however, at a SCG Open I was able to win with 3 games against both. At the same open I also lost to burn and storm combo in other rounds in 3. Dredge is a pretty good matchup for lands since we have Bojuka Bog.
