This deck uses Hardened Scales to pump creatures that use +1/+1 counters. Use Song of Freyalise to find a rhythm of bulking then attacking. Decent sustainability can be found with Biogenic Ooze for steady counters, and Swarm Shambler will replace lost bodies. Use the magic of the snakes with Benefaction of Rhonas to find an enchantment and creature each, or sideboard in Snakeskin Veil for better protection.

Strategy

This deck has a potential turn 4 win, albeit only if you draw these exact cards and your opponent does nothing. Ideal opening hand would be two Forest, Hardened Scales, Song of Freyalise, two Experiment One and Oran-Rief Ooze.

Turn 1. Forest, Experiment One
Turn 2. Forest, Song of Freyalise, Tap creature for {G} play Experiment One
Turn 3. Forest, Hardened Scales, Swarm Shambler (enters as a 2/2) (Both Experiments get 2 counters), Tap two creatures for {G}{G} play Oran-Rief Ooze (Becomes a 4/4)
Turn 4. Put 2 +1/+1 counters on all your creatures, then swing and put 2 more +1/+1 counters on them for 28 damage with trample, indestructible and vigilance. Cast Ram Through for additional damage

Modern Changes

Harmonize might be better card draw than Benefaction of Rhonas

Other Options

Corrosive Ooze would be better than Scavenging Ooze against equipment decks.
Shamanic Revelation could replace Benefaction of Rhonas if life gain is needed.
Of course The Great Henge would make this deck stronger, but that's not at all budget friendly.
