This is a Mardu deck, so we're going mostly Midrange, with a hint of Aggro. Bloodsoaked Champion, Butcher of the Horde, and Goblin Rabblemaster are all staples here.

Breakdown of the Deck

Creatures

• Athreos, God of Passage - My threats will never end.

• Bloodsoaked Champion - A perfect drop on turn 1 and has great synergy with Butcher of the Horde.

• Butcher of the Horde - a 5/4 Flyer for 4 is amazing, especially with the ability to gain Haste, Vigilance and Lifelink.

• Goblin Rabblemaster - Can get out of hand extremely fast, especially with Hordeling Outburst. The Rabble is something that your opponent needs to deal with quickly.

• Seeker of the Way - Great early game presence with Prowess and Lifelink.

• Stormbreath Dragon - a 4/4 body with protection from white is enough to keep him above every other flyer in Standard.

• Wingmate Roc - 6/8 Flying spread across 2 bodies for only 5 mana is fantastic, especially when you throw in a life gain element that has ridiculous synergy with Goblin Rabblemaster an his army of tokens.

Instants

• Bile Blight - Awesome removal against tokens or anything with toughness 3 or less. Mantis Rider gone Goblin Rabblemaster gone.

• Crackling Doom - This is potentially the most powerful card in the deck. For only 3 mana deal 2 damage to the opponent and they can sac their biggest threat. Sarkhan Dragonspeaker gone! Mistcutter Hydra gone!

• Hero's Downfall - Eliminate any threat on the board.

• Lightning Strike - Great for Removal or ends a game once you've got them in burn range.

• Magma Jet - Kills early game threats and scry 2 to help fix your deck.

Sorceries

• Hordeling Outburst - Perfect Sac Outlet to get a Butcher of the Horde going, and ramps up a Goblin Rabblemaster to get it going faster. Also great for chump blocking.

Enchantments

• Chained to the Rocks - Great removal for 1, and it exiles so your opponent can't whip back their threats.

Planeswalkers

• Elspeth, Sun's Champion - Creates chump blockers, can clear the board of Hydra Broodmaster tokens, and her Ultimate is a game winner.

• Sorin, Solemn Visitor - Lifelink and Ramp, can create blockers if your in a bind, and his Ultimate can clear an opponents board.

Mana Base

• Bloodstained Mire - Find a Mountain for Chained to the Rocks, always good for Mana fixing and deck thinning.

• Mana Confluence - Tap for any color!

• Temple of Malice - Scry 1

• Temple of Silence - Scry 1

• Temple of Triumph - Scry 1

• Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth - Everything is a Swamp, how lovely.

Sideboard

• Deflecting Palm - Great against any deck swing with a big creature and craters claw.

• Erase - Perfect to get rid of pesky Courser of Kruphix, Whip of Erebos any God card and Constellation decks.

• Glare of Heresy - Good/ Cheap/ Versatile Removal. Can get rid of anything thats white, including: Sorin, Solemn Visitor, Siege Rhino, and Jeskai Ascendancy.

• Gods Willing - Can get our creatures through Blockers, protect them from removal, and has the great benefit of Scry!

• Hushwing Gryff - Shuts down ETB abilities, including everyones favorite Siege Rhino and Hornet Queen.

• Thoughtseize - Perfect agains Control Match ups and can eliminate Opponents threats before they are on the field.

• Utter End - Additional removal that will get rid of anything permanently.
