Shrines. Want em.

The Kamigawa shrines were honestly what got me into MTG. When the new Sanctums came out I couldn't not make a deck around them. It started as a little fun laugh to occupy my mind, but as I kept playtesting I realized this thing actually kind of works. The synergy between shrines (thank you Sanctum of All) gets insane fast. Optimator calls it "Enchantment Slivers."

I incorporate a lot of side-synergies. I have Sanguine Bond because sometimes you're gaining 12 life per upkeep, I put in Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind because if things are going well you're drawing 32 cards per turn and need to end things before you deck yourself, Fiery Emancipation for when you can deal a base 8 damage to any target which turns into 24, etc. Lots of weird odds and ends like that banking on having shrines out, and if they're blasted away, bringing them back with shrine recursion (or I guess other enchantment recursion, but who cares about those?).

It's definitely inconsistent, it's definitely gimmicky, but together these shrines can really put in some work. I put in a small suite of voltron because Sisay just gets bigger every shrine you have. The deck needs closers and a 7/7 (after shrines) that you're striving to protect is a good place to start. This deck can come in from a lot of angles and I appreciate that about it. Give it an eyeball, but knowing that you're going to have some card draw to select from options shows why cards that seem too specific are actually bombs in the end.
