Firesong and Sunspeaker, probably the only interesting boros commander deck, is not a pure turn sideways deck, but rather life gain spell slinger. The deck takes advantage of gaining massive amounts of life from damage based board wipes, as well as value bolts from lifegain. Cards like Test of Endurance and Aetherflux Reservoir can be used for winning the game, or just swinging on an empty board. Because of the boros curse, the deck draws cards with stax. It has a fiar bit of resource denial stax pieces, plus as much artifact ramp I can effectively run. Landwiping with some rocks and field and being able to somewhat function as you beat face with your commander and nobody else can do anything is pretty sweet. The deck also runs fast mana ramp, like Mana Vault, and protection like Mother of Runes and Defense Grid, because your deck can function without your commander, cards like Blasphemous Act become allot better with lifelink.

This deck is built on a budget, and does not run $50 mana rocks, but for upgrades I would sugest the land base, as well as a faster ramp package like Mana Crypt and some moxen.
