Imagine an army sending one solider at a time with power of twenty? Well in this deck, that is your ultimate strategy. This deck is based around getting as many exalted cards out and swinging with annoying creatures that are a pain for your opponent to deal with.

Card choices: Well... of course for this deck I needed exalted. So that's why I choose Duty Bound Dead, Knight of Infamy, Servant of Nefarox, and Cathedral of War. I decided to play without Dustmantle Prowler and Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis because I found them way to high of costs. You need exalted cards fast so that's why they're out.

My cards that dodge are Tormented Soul, Gurmag Swiftwing, Cryptborn Horror, and Vampire Nighthawk. Gurmag Swiftwing was my only odd choice for me because I wanted a really good two drop with first strike. I was stuck between him and Black Knight, but the haste and flying are great extras.

Child of Night was also an odd choice for me, but she offers very early lifesteal for my opponent to deal with.

Disciple of Bolas is one of my favorite cards in the deck. Typically, I'm drawing eight cards and gaining eight life. She is a huge part of why I play this deck.

Also, I wanted to play Black Exalted over White Exalted is because black give a lot of control options. This is why I added a bunch of destruction life Doom Blade, Go for the Throat, Hero's Downfall, Tragic Slip, and Mutilate. Duress is just great against anything control, which kills the deck.

And last, eighteen swamps because this is mono-black!

I hope everyone likes the deck. I didn't really mean for this deck to be budget, I just made a deck and I guess it turned out being really cheap!
