Kjartan] I primarily made the comment if he wanted to splash into children, as his update said he was looking for help to slot it in. I do have to agree though, that even in a 2 color deck, Bloodstained Mire wouldn't be bad (even better with some Blood Crypt.

Great deck, especially liking the budget mana-base. Maybe try some old painlands as well or a Reflecting Pool? +1 from me

Clockwurk I like that idea for my tappedout deck. Since I already have those lands, it doesn't matter to me, but it will make viewers see how budget this can be. I might even replace Blackcleave Cliffs and put 8 other cheaper dual lands. Thanks for the suggestion! I will consider it!

Hi, I actually REALLY like this deck. Have you consitered a couple of the other accelerants on modern. Simian spirit guide comes to mind for me. But this is a sweet deck idea and can definately catch some people off guard.

jjjwalker Thanks for the input man, I really appreciate it! I've been considering Simian Spirit Guide recently since it makes turn two wins possible and turn three wins so much more consistent. However , it's hard to invest since 4 copies is like $30 and I'm not 100% sure on adding it yet, but definitely considering.

How about Temur Battle Rage, this way you can win with a 10 power infect or a 10 power double strike. basically adding another win con?

DuBie15 I already have Assault Strobe for double strike and although it's a sorcery it only costs one.

jjjwalker that would be pretty op in this deck if it was. If only...

I think kiln fiend would be better than immolating souleater. Maybe just a little
April 13, 2016 12:21 p.m.

jjjwalker Kiln Fiend needs at least 3 instants or sorceries played on turn 3 for a win whereas Immolating Souleater wins off of a Tainted Strike or Assault Strobe alone also with rite or fling I can pump of the souleater with no spells than sad it for 20 damage total.

THEbuilder that's what it's for! Go use it to crush your foes. Just make sure you swap out the dual lands if you're going more budget.

Hello! Awesome deck dude!!! I would reccomend Volrath's Stronghold as an awesome sideboard card against decks with lots of cheap removal. But if u r trying to keep the deck budget I wouldn't cuz it's about 20$. +1

bjsghebd that is a great suggestion! Do you know anything cheaper ? But that pretty much saves my deck. I'll definitely try to put at least 2 in the sideboard. I'm thinking 2 in my main wouldn't hurt either since most decks have some sort of removal.

Kjartan that sucks... Finally the perfect sideboard card come and gone so quickly.

It's innovative brews like this that consistently prove to the dogmatic meta-game follower that victories are not correlate with price-tag. Well done!

Methylase Thanks! That's what I'm here for. It's fun to bring something surprising to a tournament that's so normally bland and paying a fraction of the costs.

IDK maybe Doomed Necromancer or DisentombWith doomed Necromancer u can activate ability end step and just win but nothing is as good as Volrath's Stronghold

Lazerpig21 Thanks a lot! I just feel like there's a perfect card out there that I'm missing to make this deck perfect. Plus, if you have any sideboard opinions since I have no clue really.

kameenook unless he put in Children of Korlis, which I agree can be very good here, his deck is only B/R.
Still, some Bloodstained Mire won't hurt.
