One of my older decks. During the time when the Innistrad- and Return to Ravnica-block was in Standard, and I was a new player, this was a standard deck. It wass not very strong compared to competitive decks, but is still to day a very fun deck to play and can hold itself up in kitchen table-matches. :P

After I grew more and more into MTG, and the deck fell out of Standard, I tried some minor changes, but even with the current upgrades, it would be Innistrad-RTR-legal (after some changes in the land-base).

In my first version I used Cathedral Sanctifier and Call To Serve but those got replaced by Fog Bank and Spectral Flight. I also added 3x Sejiri Refuge.

I know there would be many ways to actually improve this deck and make it really competetive, but I want to keep it like this - as a reminder of a time when MTG was still simple and could still be full of surprises.

I've also given this deck to my girlfriend to play around as this deck is not the most complicated to use, but still requires some strategical thinking and can hold up against other decks that are non-intro decks.
