7 turns to stop Saheeli Rai Thats typically how long she takes to set of a chain of events that will not bode well for your opponent.

This is the list I will run in standard to start Kaladesh.

• The Concept -

This Deck wants Card advantage, always. If your not drawing, your losing. Tools like Anticipate and Collective Defiance will help ensure this. You need to be always digging for the play 3 turns ahead. The goal is to overwhelm your opponent with Ults from Saheeli Rai and /or Nahiri, the Harbinger to sneak in the Gearhulks, not for their strength, for their ETB effects. Panharmonicon will add to this, doubling the ETB triggers from almost every creature in the deck, yes Reflector Mage triggers twice, as does Spell Queller. Combustible Gearhulk will be your go to gearhulk here, a typical Saheeli Rai Ult will look like Panharmonicon into Gearhulk, Gearhulk based on the need of the situation. Between Combustible Gearhulk, Noxious Gearhulk and Cataclysmic Gearhulk there should never be a PW Ult that you dont have a devastating play for.

• The Utility -

Its plentiful. Ranging from engines like Anticipate and Collective Defiance (yes you want a mini Wheel of Fortune here :P ) to Declaration in Stone and Radiant Flames to help you get you to your PW Ults. As mentioned, Reflector Mage and Spell Queller will put in SERIOUS work with the help of Panharmonicon ensuring that a late game can last as long as you need it to. Control the board, stay in card advantage, win the game. Seems like an easy concept.

• The Winning -

Ideally you want both Saheeli Rai and Nahiri, the Harbinger out and +'ing all the time. If the deck manages to hard cast a Combustable Gearhulk then Saheeli Rai's -2 is bonkers and will be the crutch. The utility should help keep you +'ing Saheeli/Nahiri. Your final play will often look like a Nahiri, the Harbinger ult hopefully in conjunction with a Saheeli Rai Ult to sneak in as many Gearhulks as possible to trigger their ETB effects to simply overwhelm your opponent. When this happens, that should be a solid GG.
