The main card is Muldrotha, the Gravetide. I've found it difficult to find a semi-decent modern version of this deck as most people seem to use Muldrotha, the Gravetide in EDH. The goal is simple: get cards into your graveyard and wreak havoc, then return those same cards from the graveyard and do it all over again.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
I have most of my cards figured out, and it playtests pretty decent where it stands, but I have not yet had a chance to actually play this deck against somebody. I do notice that my early game lacks as I don't have a reliable way to get out my creatures until Muldrotha. Even still, when she's out, I get a feeling like I'm not using her full potential as I mostly have a creature sac deck and she can target more than just creatures. I'm considering adding sacrifice permanents to the mix with the creatures to get more of a benefit, or finding something that eats permanents for some effect, but either way, it still seems to work very well. I can mill myself and others pretty early with Returned Reveler and with a strategic Thoughtpicker Witch I can attune that to my advantage. I don't suffer with lands due to Glowspore Shaman and Ramunap Excavator and can almost always hit my land drop every turn. And with an Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and a Crypt Ghast I double the potential mana I have. Getting the cards I need has seemed to get decently easily with the card draw and a couple search cards, along with the self milling and things to get cards out of my graveyard. Ironically, where the deck is right now, early game suffers from not being able to get some creatures out, preferably to the battlefield with graveyard retrieval, but I have a couple ideas I'm considering that could help with that pretty well and will update as I go. As a last resort and as a kind of joke, I've heavily considered Laboratory Maniac as an alternate win condition, but I haven't been able to play the deck against anyone yet to see how that would hold up.
Again, this is still under construction and any advice or card suggestions are welcome. Also, feel free to comment your opinion on using laboratory maniac. Thanks for any and all contributions to building this deck, and let me know if you tried it out and how it handled! Enjoy!
