I have been wanting to build a deck with Kyler for a while and once the Templar Knight card came out I finally decided to build a deck with Kyler as the commander.

Defense of the Heart can get Avacyn and one of the Sigarda’s out early to give permanents you own Indestructible and Hexproof.

Once your permanents are indescribable you can use Nevinyrral’s Disk and Worldslayer as repeatable board wipes that won’t affect your board state. Unfortunately neither one of them are Legendary.

16 of the 22 Artifacts are Legendary and can be tutored from the library to the battlefield via the Templar Knights.
