I'm pretty sure I should be on 6 to 7 mana dorks.

I think I should replace 1 geist with 1 spellskite.

I think tarmogoyf could turn into 1 eternal witness, and 1 more spellskite. Then I could also go for 1 more qasali pridemage or something.

I'm winding down on tier 1 modern at the moment. It's not a format I enjoy but casual modern is fine.

Check out my list, Knightfall. Let me know if there is anything you would change? :)

This is my new hyper aggressive balls to the wall version.

I like it. Maybe -1 Qasali Pridemage +1 Elspeth, Knight-Errant since you now have 4x Mirran Crusader in addition to the 3x Geist of Saint Traft?

Have you thought about adding Brimaz, King of Oreskos to this deck? 3 cmc for a 3/4 that benifits from exalted and gives you another token attack is pretty awesome. You also might want to consider Hero of Bladehold. I know you won't get it out with the Collected Company, but possibly on turn 5, you could be swinging with a 6/7 or 7/8 with two 2/1 creatures on top.

could The Gitrog Monster work in this deck? The black splash is quite easy and this monster frog has decent synergy with the knight.

I've been doing some testing with an alternate brew of my The O-Ring Effect and the end results are in a similar line to this deck, minus the combo and more control oriented.

Basically, the additions were Ardent Plea, Ancestral Visions, Geist of Saint Traft and Sublime Archangel.

I thought that the Ardent Plea and Ancestral Vision package might pique your interest into an alternate style of playing this deck.

Tireless Tracker? Its cmc 3 for CoCo and the synergy with Knight of the Reliquary is pretty neat (tap forest, get new forest and a clue, tap new forest and sac clue).

What do you think?

Femme_Fatale - Ardent plea and Ancestral Vision is really interesting. I might brew something else for that.

smackjack - I don't like him because of the intense mana investment required to make him a relevant threat.

ChiefBell,

Very nice deck, +1!

I was wondering, since you have a lot of humans in this list, maybe Sigarda, Heron's Grace could be a really nice card for protecting your threats against removal. I know it's not a Collected Company target, but it does grant hexproof, with a pretty decent body.

I'd like to hear what you think of this!

I'm considering creating this deck myself.

Snipperman

Also, regarding the humans tech, you might want to squeeze in some removal in the form of creatures.

Fiend Hunter is card worth looking into I think, Silverblade Paladin together with KotR sounds pretty good as well.

I might be too deep on the humans plan here, but at least the Fiend Hunter could be worth a slot, as you don't play any removal at this moment, which is usefull against Abzan company, and also vs Infect and other creatures MU's.

Snipperman: I think one of the things to remember about this deck is that it's an aggro deck, and as such the goal is to win the game as quickly as possible. The reason why I don't run Sigarda, Fiend Hunter and others is simply because they don't achieve enough in a timely manner. Our goal here is to either combo off or try to achieve victory T5/T6. Naturally then we want our creature to be coming down T2/T3 to start swinging. Therefore a 5 mana creature with 4 power is lackluster. Yes she gives stuff hexproof, but if we swarm the board and win quickly enough 1-for-1 removal doesn't bother us anyway.

Silverblade Paladin has been considered by myself and others but it's a pretty lackluster topdeck. In the late game you really want to keep drawing threats so you can quickly stabilise if a board clear does occur or something else. a 3 mana 2/2 just isn't good enough. Yes he gives stuff double strike but he himself is too fragile to be safe.

Hey, i like your build. Ive been working on a Knightfall deck myself but mine is a bit bigger while trying to maintain the agro feeling you have achieved. After looking at your list im probably going to modify mine slightly but thought i should return the favor and suggest some of the cards that have tested well in my bigger knightfall version.

My build used Bring to light instead of CoCo so the suggestions arnt really company friendly but the ones ive been impressed with are:Surrak, the Hunt Caller: makes future knights lethal (assuming the combo is in play) right when they enter the battlefield and any future threats gain haste which is very relavent.

Wolfir Silverheart: 12 power for 5 mana which is castable on T3 (expecially with Lotus Cobra) just over powers people. Works well with Surrak as well and the later mentioned Raiq as well.

and Rafiq of the Many: as a 1 of, you may not need since you are already running so many doublestrikers.

I really like the Knight of the Reliquary + Retreat to Coralhelm combo you have here. Have you considered adding Undergrowth Champion? With all the Landfall triggers from the combo it can become another huge threat to your opponent.

ChiefBell says... #17

Yeah I did consider it but it's not worth it. The undergrowth champion only really does stuff when the knight and retreat combo is going off at the same time. At this point is very likely you're going to win anyway so there's no need for the champion.
