2-2-0 first time playing Modern, that's not bad — Feb. 21, 2015

Match 1: Opponent was playing some sort of Blue/Black control deck. Went 2-1, I lost game 2, but won game 3.

Match 2: Opponent was playing a combo deck based on Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Restoration Angel . I barely lost in game 3, because I had them locked down hard with Damping Matrix + 2x Grafdigger's Cage which kept them from activating abilities of their creatures and also prevented Chord of Calling. They were able to out-card advantage me though by combining Elvish Visionary + Ghostway . 1-2. Was very close on Game 3 with the lockdown, but he killed me by dropping Siege Rhino, we were both very low on health.

Match 3: Opponent was playing a hard-aggro warrior deck. Went 2-1.

Match 4: Opponent was playing Abzan/Junk. Probably my worst possible match-up, thanks to Liliana of the Veil. Still almost beat him out in Game 3, went 1-2.

Changes:

I guess I'm going to get some Daybreak Coronets after all, I am also going to add Windswept Heath
