This is awesome solely because it's w/r twin. I really like the idea!
Rebuff the Wicked might be sideboard material here.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Not a lot of W/R twins out there. Great recommendation too, I need to work that card in.

Yah that card is often overlooked but it counters a lot of removal. Sadly it doesn't help with Abrupt Decay. Ephemeral Shields could help with the decay problem on a creature.

Nevermind you should have enough pro color cards to help you.

I would think about Ghostly Prison instead of Norn's Annex. The prison is easier to cast and a little harder to pay for the creatures. It makes them use mana to attack that they would normally use for removal. I also think that 4x Lightning Bolt mainboard would be better than Oblivion Ring. Or something like Swords to Plowshares or Condemn for spot removal. I think that Valorous Stance as a combination of threat removal (Siege Rhino, Tarmogoyf, big things, etc.) and protection, is strictly better than Apostle's Blessing and you might consider Gods Willing.

16smith, thanks for the great advice. I have to agree with the Ghostly Prison and Lightning Bolt recommendation, your logic is pretty undeniable. I will work those tonight.

Gods Willing is definitely needed. thanks again for the advice.

Needs Lightning Bolt and Lightning Helix in the mainboard. O-ring and Journey are terrible cards in modern. You can have the o-ring as a two of if you are using Idyllic Tutor, but no more than that. Don't forget about the Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Restoration Angel combo. Restoration Angel should replace Heliod's Pilgrim solely for the fact that it is an excellent beater and can win you the game on its own. Top it off with the burn spells mentioned before and you won't need the Splinter Twin combo should the opponent shut it off. Faith's Shield would easily do better than Apostle's Blessing, and Gods Willing/Valorous Stance will give you more advantage than Brave the Elements.

Finally, you need more land. I suggest at minimum 22. Cavern of Souls as a 2 of can help protect your creatures, and Ghost Quarter as a 2 of to help against tron and manlands. And put in 2 more mountains.

For the sideboard, Kor Firewalker will save you against your burn match-up. Kitchen Finks can help against hatebears and zoo. Stony Silence will destroy Affinity and U-tron to an extent. Blood Moon completely demolishes Tron, Scapeshift and Bloom Titan. Leyline of Sanctity should be a 3 of. Wrath of God as a 2 of and Fracturing Gust as a one of to help against hatebears, merfolk, affinity, zoo, etc.

Other sideboard cards include Combust, Celestial Purge, Rending Volley, Wear / Tear, Volcanic Fallout, Batterskull, Fulminator Mage, Mirran Crusader and Defense Grid.

Femme_Fatale, your advice is greatly appreciated. I can definitely see the pertinence of all of those cards in modern, and I am going to start working them into this deck over the next few days.

Thanks again for the recommendations.

note that resto angel and kiki jiki also combo off quite well (opponent's eot t4, drop resto. t5 drop kiki and win).

they're in your colors and kiki is essentially a 5th copy of twin that synergizes well with heliod's pilgrim and wall of omens. also kiki jiki + inferno titan is pretty devastating.

I want to mention that Valorous Stance doubles as removal against Tarmogoyf, Siege Rhino, Wilt-Leaf Liege, Inferno Titan, Batterskull tokens, Restoration Angel, Celestial Colonnade, Stirring Wildwood, Voice of Resurgence tokens, Deceiver Exarch and Tasigur, the Golden Fang. All of which see play in modern.

Id like to point out that UR Twin is good because it plays as a control deck that can kill you out of nowhere, your opponent can't tap out without knowledge of your hand.

Other than that it it looks fine and Femme has suggested all the good advice.

bijschjdbcd, I definitely agree. U/R twin is a beast, and this deck is inferior to a lot of U/R lists, but that was partially my reasoning in building it. I wanted to take a relatively obsolete build and make it as viable as possible.

Yeah, I would replace Idyllic Tutor with Wall of Omens You already have the tutor for Twin in Heliod's Pilgrim and it gives you the body as a bonus. You want card advantage and the ability to dig for your combo pieces as quickly as possible.
