I've always been disappointed with Wall of Omens I rather have Spellskite which will also protect your combo.

I had mana problems every single time I tested this deck. At least make it around 22.

have you considered Silence for any control matchups?

I Played a very similar deck at my LGS. I used Village Bell-Ringer + Splinter Twin or Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker as the main combo. I started with Midnight Guard but found that he was to easily bolted. I ended up using Restoration Angel and Zealous Conscripts as other creatures to win with. Conscripts as a 1 of because it can take an opponents Emrakul or other threat worth taking AND it Combos with Kiki and Twin.
I played 4 maindeck Wall of Omens to help dig to the combo and help fight Aggro matches. Since I didn't run any tutor affects(I liked Twin to be a surprise game 1) I needed Draw to get the combo.
After a while everyone started to expect Twin as my only Win condition, Burning them out worked but only if I could get a few attacks in. So I added an alternative Win condition. Boros Reckoner + Harvest Pyre later on in the game was awesome. with little Synergies making Big Recks way better. 3 Faithless Lootings helping fill the GY for faster Pyres. Pyroclasm + Recks helped pick off those Spellskites out of sideboards. The fact that Reckoner was a wall no one wanted to swing into or block made the games go by so much easier.
Relying on just the Twin combo is very dangerous in Modern. if you attempt to play twin and they respond with a burn spell, if you give your creature Protection from red You lose your combo. That sets you back quite a bit. I know I have done exactly that.
Hopefully this helps you. I'll see if I can find my old list and send you a link.

I could not find it on the other site since it is shutting down. But I did rebuild it from memory. it should be my old 75.

If I were building a splinter twin deck, I would be playing Restoration Angel and Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker because those two alone can go off.

Well, I like that someone finally has a w/r version of this deck that people actually NOTICE. I had a 5-color version, but I deleted it b/c no one ever looked at it.

aGreed. 2 turns is better than 1, and its still instant speed. LITERALLY NO DOWNSIDE!

Amazing Job!! I love Twin but never have made one like this. Spellskite in the deck. It is good against most decks. It takes burn from bolts and it gets buffed with stuff meant for Blighted Agent, and you can enchant it with your opponents' auras.

I think Wall of Omens Should be maindeck. I'd max out on those before even considering Heliod's Pilgrim.
If you look at what other Twin decks are doing, pure combo has basically died out. They can all win with Snapcaster beats, or a splash for Tarmogoyf, or finish you off with burn, or play control. None of them are just combo + finding the combo; they all have a backup plan.
With that in mind, I think you could easily cut the Pilgrims, Idyllic Tutors and 4 protection cards. I think Pyroclasm is an excellent maindeck card, as are value creatures like Resto Angel (even without Kiki-Jiki, who sucks) and even Flickerwisp. Thalia, Guardian of Thraben is a pain for opponents whether you're comboing that game or not, and can easily be worth 6-8 points of damage in a game if you're controlling the pace of play.
I love the deck, so +1!

It's amazing, because it's not U/R Twin, I want to say it's better than U/R Twin. It actually might be, U/R Twin may have card draw, control, and redudancy, but it runs 8 enablers, and ZERO ways to tutor for Splinter Twin. You've got 8 enablers, and 6 tutors, which I would consider bumping up to 8 tutors, and running O-Ring and other utility auras, you know, because you can.

Disagree there. Even URW Twin doesn't run Idyllic Tutor because if you already have on of your 4x Splinter Twin in hand.... It's a dead card and if you're running 4x Idyllic Tutor that's 4 dead cards. That said it's a fantastic idea and I applaud the innovation. +1

I actually suggest that you should mainboard Blood Moon. In fact, what you should do is remove Heliod's Pilgrim and Midnight Guard to mainboard 2x Blood Moon, 2x Restoration Angel, a Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, a land, and 2x Zealous Conscripts. Blood Moon mainboard can easily slaughter many decks, but if you don't want to have that mainboard then I suggest the Wall of Omens. Or even Perimeter Captain to help deal with RDW.

If it's not a gamebreaker in game 1, you don't have to reveal it. If you do play it in game 1 and they can easily play around it in game 2, you can side it out and they have to play around it anyway, hamstringing themselves for the sake of a card you don't even have.

You do not want to run 4 legendaries. 2 at the MOST especially for one that is 5 cmc and has RRR in its cost.
