So, Got the deck up and running.
And damn, How rude it is.
I played my roomie yesterday. Freed an Axebane from the Real. Cast a Killing Wave for 20 and a Nicol Bolas the same turn.

Love this Idea man. I'll post my "version" today.

So...after playing against a rather nasty infinite life loss combo deck that exposed a vulnerability, I have made a few changes to the changes to the sideboard.
Additionally, I have increased the count of Bloom Tender to four so that the deck can combo out even faster and more consistently. The result is pretty damn scary.

Surgical Extraction is great for removing non-basic lands too yanno!
Opponent: Tap, Sacrifice Fetch land.
Play Shock land.
You: Surgical Extraction on your Fetch.
Opponent: /Facepalm.

zandl, It's been in previous builds. Long story short is that I only want to use four wall slots on walls that don't tap for mana. Drift of Phantasms provides high quality flying defense and can also be used as a tutor. Perimeter Captain mitigates some of the painland damage and is a good cheap wall that can be brought out early to enable Axebane and the combo.
Wall of Denial while being a great card, is 3cmc which I'm swamped at as it is and serves no other function than being an obstruction... Which is fairly redundant in a deck running 11 walls.

Honestly, I liked how the deck functioned maybe 2 versions ago. Now, it's just slow and bad.

iamacasual Really? I wonder why your finding it slower. I'm finding it combos out much faster...

Basically we've added a bunch of new targets for Freed from the Real so we should be comboing out a lot more faster back when it was just Axebane.

Congradulations! I'm your 200th upvote, I really like this deck and it seems like a lot of fun!

Bloom Tender definitely speeds things up, but I don't like that your land base has gone down. Even Mono G ramp decks have 20-22 lands. I often have to mull to 5 or less to get a good starting hand.

With as much ramp as I have I am ok for now with the 19 lands. It is of course subject to change. So long as you have two lands and one of them can produce green in your opening hand you are usually good to go.

Orochi Leafcaller is bad. Replace with a better mana dork.

I'm liking it for now. It allows Overgrown Battlement to function as another Axebane Guardian for Freed From the Real

Interactions are good, but you have too many Magical Christmas Land situations going on. Already being able to Bloom Tender or Axebane is fine enough. I'd cut the 2 leaf callers for 2 lands: 1x Stomping Ground and 1x Overgrown Tomb.

Split the difference. Went for one more land and one more Birds...

zandl I ended up testing dropping one Detention Sphere in favor of a Wall of Denial and I like having the additional heavy flying blocker. I'm gonna run it. Thanks for the suggestion.
