went 3-2 in both.
Match 1 E Tron (0-2)
Game 1 was back and forth but he drew a few more eldrazi than I could handle. Game 2 was 3 Eldrazi Temples in a row. 6 Mana turn 3 is pretty rough.
Match 2 GDS (0-2)
Game 1 he managed to draw enough cards to avoid damage and eventually outraced me with delve creatures. Game 2 I mulled to 6 and said keep on a decent hand. After I said that, I noticed that I had no lands. Turn 2 double 4/4 Death's Shadows while I still had no lands was a scoop.
Match 3 Unlife/Solemnity (2-1)
Game 1 was a Mutavaults/Discard+Racks beatdown. Game 2 he Phyrexian Unlife+Solemnity so I scooped for time. If I had a Liliana out I would have ult her and divided the enchantments so it's not an auto scoop.
Match 4 Naya Burn (2-0)
Games 1 and 2 went easy due to Collective Brutality plus other discard. Just remember to side out Thoughtseize. Don't want to make their game easier.
Match 5 WU Control (2-0)
He kept bad hands and I managed to steal key cards to save me. The Rack finished him off both games.
PPTQ 2
Match 1 Vizier Company (0-2)
Games 1 and 2 he managed to get the combo off right before I could kill the creatures. Game 2 was finished turn 4.
Match 2 Naya Zoo (2-0)
Beat my son both games a lot easier than I thought. Again collective works wonders.
Match 3 E Tron (0-2)
Game 1 was weird where we were both hellbent, he had >9 tron lands out and a Karn, I kept killing his Eldrazi but a Reality Smasher managed to seal the game after a long while. Game 2 was a lot faster and 2 Thought-Knot Seer in a turn did some damage.
Match 4 Storm (2-0)
Game 1 was discard, discard, discard. The Racks finished him off. Game 2 started with a Leyline of the Void in play. A little back and forth with The Racks pinging away. He Empty the Warrens for 3 (6 tokens) and the race was on. I was only doing 5 to his 6 but when he went in for fatal, I Fatal Pushed 1 and used my topdecked Mutavault to block a second, keeping me out of range for a Grapeshot with his single card in hand. Racks finished him the next turn.
Match 5 Grixis Delver (2-0)
Game 1 was a back and forth with each other pinging away. I saved my Smallpox for Tasigur, the Golden Fang and a Fatal Push for his Delver of Secrets
Flip. After killing both in 1 turn, it was my game. Second game I sided in the Lingering Spirits and those provided the beats. He got a Tasigur, the Golden Fang out and I took some damage but was outracing him. He ended up dying to the upkeep triggers of my rack effects.
