This deck relies on Nexus of Fate and Wilderness reclamation as its engine with any of its pays offs like Search for Azcanta, Teferi (big), Tamiyo, chemister's insight, to generate value through abusing your excessive mana and hopefully chain turns. Win conditions are Teferi ult or winning through combat locked through chain turns.
I believe this deck is situated very well in the current format as Esper control has been set aside by Esper Midrange (which is not an easy match up, considering the creatures they have generate significant card advantage or steal your nexus of fates ;)) However, Mono red, Mono white, Mono Blue, UR drakes, GR Monsters, Sultai, are all pretty favorable match ups even on semi-average draws.
What really shines in this deck is search for Azcanta- This card enables you to use your extra mana and search sometimes 2-3 times a turn for Nexus of fate for chain turns. It can also search for a particular answer that you need or more card draw. Rarely misses in this deck.
Tamiyo is above and beyond an all star as she puts cards in your graveyard to flip Azacanta faster, can return cards you need to your hand with her minus, and also (very importantly) thins your deck out for more consistent Nexus of Fate draws! Much better than I originally thought she would be. Can also grab a root snare back to your hand if desperate and need an extra turn.
Big Teferi= is just a good card- if you are not sure about this card go read any other review or dont play him and prove the entire community wrong.
Little Teferi- good in the side board, probably room in the main deck to cut off control match ups- I just dont think this card is good in our deck main if my theory is correct we will be playing against a large amount of aggro and midrange decks at competitive events.
Growth Spiral / Revitalize- both good cycler's that 1. either ramp us up or gain us life. Revitalize is a great addition to the deck only with a bunch of aggro strategies running around. Also not dead in other control match ups as it gets us closer to what other cards we want.
