primalcrux. that is all

Coppercd When I first built this deck I had Primalcrux in but I couldn't find any room for him. What do you think I should take out to fit him in without making this deck any slower?

Strangleroot Geist is much better than Garruk's Companion in my opinion, it takes more to remove, (letting you hold on to your devotion longer) and can also be used to soften opponents early on in the game. It also costs GG, which is what your looking for.

Possibly some land search cards e.g. Rampant Growth for the scute mobs.

or to get a mana ramp going with the tones of devotion Karametra's Acolyte .

-1x Alpha Authority

+2x Rampant Growth faster scute mob monster

+2x Karametra's Acolyte so much devotion seems a waste not to accelerate for nothing.

Tried to take away and add was hard choices.

this is my current deck for mono green devotion. you can use it to determine what might look good if you want to expand the deck.if anything

I would advise taking out 1 or 2 scute mobs (unless you play in a casual/multiplayer format) as the amount of time is takes to get them up and running can be a little overbearing sometimes.

also on the idea of what's better in a green devotion deck, revered hunter comes out with counters equal to your devotion at the time. primalcrux however scales as the deck keeps going or as you lose guys. both have drawbacks but both have their advantages as well. In the end the choice is yours on how many of each you want. I would make it so you have a total of 6 or 5 in total of the 2 of them.

most importantly though you need card draw to get the nykthos engine really going. (soul's majesty/ momentous fall/ greater good/ harmonize/ wistful selkie) are all great options. you can also go the genesis wave option which can be pretty powerful.

I would suggest switching Overwhelming Stampede for Overrun . You should always have a creature with a power higher than 3 and Overwhelming Stampede can become ridiculous. It's the focal point of my mono green deck.

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx seems nuts in this deck

Have you considered Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to make the deck be more based around devotion?
