I’ve never seen that card before. I’ll try to work it in. Thanks, kamarupa!

Gonna have to use Liliana's Caress instead of Megrim in my Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck now

I love this deck, I used this same Ebony Owl Netsuke + Howling Mine + Kami of the Crescent Moon combo an age ago and always got a big groan from my brother when I pulled out the deck :P
Have you considered controlling the cost of your opponent's spells to compound the difficulty of emptying their hand with cards like Monastery Siege, Dovin, Hand of Control, Kasmina, Enigmatic Mentor, God-Pharaoh's Statue or even Void Winnower just for a laugh? That last one doesn't really offer anything competitively but making spells more expensive or unplayable means fewer potential counters needed or more available to counter creatures. Not a super efficient strategy, I like what you have already but it's an idea. :)

Thanks assassinklaus! Glad you like the deck :D
I never thought to use cost increasing spells, but I could give them a try! I especially like Monastery Siege.
Thanks for the suggestions!

I’d probably add in 4x Murktide Regent to have another game plan

Those are all great suggestions, Dead_Blue_! I’m sure I could find a spot for Day's Undoing somewhere and Hurkyl's Recall looks like an excellent sideboard card. Murktide Regent is a great suggestion too, but it‘s just a little too expensive for me to run a full set.
Thanks for the suggestions!

I like that it runs on >3 cmc. If you are thinking of going for the big casting cost I'd suggest Forced Fruition.

Sorry, just thought I'd add Wash Out to the list too.

Thanks for the suggestions, Fuzzy003! Wash Out is a little up there in CMC but it could make for a good sideboard option and I like the idea of Forced Fruition, but again it’s quite high in cost. Maybe I could try it as a 1 of though.
Thanks again, I appreciate the ideas!

Do you think Spiteful Visions fits the deck? You might need to commit to red a bit more but it seems like what you're going for to me...

Thanks for the suggestion to_regatha_and_beyond! I have already considered using Spiteful Visions as an additional way to deal damage, but the problem I have with it is that it costs slightly too much mana and I don't like that the damage hits me too.
Theoretically it would be a great card to use since I should be out damaging my opponent since I would also be running Ebony Owl Netsuke and Runeflare Trap alongside it, but I feel like having a card that hurts everyone equally with each card draw wouldn't put me ahead of my opponents as much as I would like, and in some circumstances that could cost me the game. I'll try playtesting it though to see if it's better than I think it is.
Thanks again for the suggestion!

- There's no reason to play three colors. There are enough bounce spells in blue to get rid of Reprieve. Eye of Nowhere is good enough. Besides, bouncing a land may be more damaging than bouncing a spell.
- Add an additional Kami of the Crescent Moon. It's a cheap draw that can also block. I know it's legendary, but it's definitely worth to have it in every game, and have a replacement if removed.
- Add one Mikokoro, Center of the Sea
- When this deck was Standard, it used to play Exhaustion, which buys you time. With all the Howling Mine, this is effectively a Time Walk
- Silver Myr and Temporal Adept are just bad.

- Fevered Visions may be better than Jace Beleren and Temple Bell

Thanks for the comments nuperokaso!
Those are all great suggestions, I'll look into trying out all of them. I might not use every suggestion just because I want my deck to still somewhat resemble how it looked when I first made it back in 2015, just for the nostalgia factor, but Fevered Visions and Mikokoro, Center of the Sea are both fantastic suggestions that I will try to fit into the deck. I'll still test out the other suggestions, and I'll probably some day end up using them, but for now I'll just start with those two.
Thanks again for the suggestions, it's very much appreciated! :D
