This deck is designed to mill an opponent as fast as possible. The main tools are Hedron Crab , Mesmeric Orb , and Sphinx's Tutelage . The deck has obvious synergies like Thought Scour (mill and cantrip), Snapcaster Mage + Archive Trap or Trapmaker's Snare that is in the graveyard, but there are also synergies with Visions of Beyond + Sphinx's Tutelage or Sphinx's Tutelage + Painter's Servant . Hedron Crab + Flooded Strand or Polluted Delta is also a really nice synergy because milling for 6 and fixing mana is always great. Since I don't own Glimpse the Unthinkable I am instead using Breaking . I am still unsure if I should run a playset of Painter's Servant and Sphinx's Tutelage ; if I did, I would replace Mind Funeral . Any advice about whether or not I should go for the Sphinx's Tutelage + Painter's Servant combo as a priority would be greatly appreciated.
