Sideboard

Update on an old spirits list. Deck's matchup's are all solid except for aggro decks, due to efficent removal like shock and fatal push as well as portable hole. Almost forgot phoenix decks, RB arcanist, and food decks can be difficult as well. Other than that spirits dominate. And previous said bad matchups are more reasonable due to being able to play portable hole and other good sideboard options. Since spirits has huge lead in combo/control and midrange matchups while behind in aggressive/hyper efficent matchups but having good sideboard options, it's one of the top 3 decks in the format. other 2 being arcanist lurrus decks (RW heroic, R/RW/RG burn, RB Pyromancer being all basically the same deck with different flavor) and then food decks. Obviously that's just been my experience for the format, you could argue for phoenix or maybe vampires. Thing with those decks though is that when the phoenix deck can't find its namesake card it struggles, same with vampires and not finding a copy of sorin. the decks can pop off but the important thing is their performance on average.
