Sideboard

Artifact (4)

Playing around with rotpriest trying to find a way to capitalize on the full scope of its interaction. I feel like drakkis is just good value. Especially when paired with everything else going on in the deck. With Ivy and rotpriest, bringing back any targeting spells we may have used earlier. Spellskite is good redundancy and disruption/protection allowing us to double up on rotpriest triggers.

However, if the stars align and we have a spellskite on the field with rotpriest and Ivy it makes for some awesome synergy. One targeting spell for 3 poison counters is a good rate to me. Even better if it’s for a mutated drakkis onto say a rotpriest. Then we copy it to mutate a copy onto Ivy and then, or before lol, we redirect the original mutate to spellskite. 3 poison counter triggers for one. Two mutated creatures for one. And two drakkis triggers. All with one casting :)

I have been doing my damndest to understand what’s going on with mutate and how all of this interacts lmao. I think I’m understanding it properly but if not please let me know in the comments :) this is as of now purely theory crafted with no playtesting yet so I have no idea how it’ll truly perform. But I like the idea so far and am psyched to try it out.

Again if you notice any in discrepancies in the decklist or the interactions I mentioned please comment so I can adjust the deck accordingly. And if you try the deck out I’d love to hear how it performed. Thanks!

Also if the deck ends up being any good I’ll need help finding a proper name for it lol.

Also also, the sideboard is a work in progress. So ignore it for now :)
