G/B Constellation (Post Rotation)

Standard BG (Golgari) Midrange

Hepburn

Sideboard

I've always been a Golgari player and while everyone is frantically Googling Tarkir spoilers, I feel now is the time to get this deck off the ground.

There is SOOO much hate that rotates out in a few weeks, but with this deck you can keep slapping down the cards and living it up well into next year. Obviously time will tell but give it a chance!

Basically, this is my take on a post-rotation Constellation deck that I've been refining over the months and has proven pretty effective to date on MTGO. It's probably not gonna be winning any PT's anytime soon but when it works, it's hella fun to play and the strategy is simple to understand (but though to master...)

The deck is all about Constellation synergy. It's primarily based around abusing Eidolon of Blossoms as a card-draw engine and tripping as many Constellation triggers as possible. If you're playing it right, everything should be drawing you cards, gaining you life or killing an opponent.

The majority of the creatures are there to trigger Blossom until you have an effective board and can start making way with Fate Unraveler, Boon Satyr, Nissa, Worldwaker and the Gods.

Sequencing is VERY important to ensure triggers from Courser of Kruphix, Pharika, God of Affliction and Grim Guardian are hit in the right order. There's a lot of Scying and card-draw and graveyard-interaction here so take your time!

Anyway, let me know what you think!

Updates Add

-4x Elvish Mystic

-4x Reaper of the Wilds

-1x Erebos, God of the Dead (to sideboard)

-1x Extinguish All Hope (from SB)

+4x Gnarled Scarhide

+4x Fate Unraveler

+1x Nylea, God of the Hunt

Mystic removed as a tester to see if I can live without the ramp. The early aggro and cheeky triggers provided by Scarhide seems to benefit the deck better as a whole.

Was never getting Erebos online due to lack of devotion so swapped for another Nylea.

Fate Unraveler added to reinforce the synergy of the deck. It's big enough to attack and block and left sat doing nothing will slowly kill an opponent over time.

Will continue testing.

Thanks for the votes so far!
