This is a very mean mono-black control pauper deck. A turn one Dark Ritual into a Chittering Rats essentially denies your opponents their first draw. And it only gets meaner as the game progresses. Disrupting their hand with Hymn to Tourach on turn two, Liliana's Specter, or another Chittering Rats on turn three; Killing anything that got out with Disfigure, Geth's Verdict, and Victim of Night; All the while creating hand advantage with Phyrexian Ragers, and Sign in Blood. You might feel trepidation over trading your life for cards, but don't worry. Your Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Corrupt should fix you right up late game, and possibly kill your opponent if you've been beating on them with your creatures for a bit. And to top it all off, if your opponent thinks they're clever when they burn off your creatures you can punish them by Unearth ing one (since it can target everything except Gary) and having the ETB effect trigger again.

In the sideboard we have Rancid Earth as an answer to Urza-Tron. Crypt Rats For board wipes against goblins or token decks. Duress and Wrench Mind to disrupt Delver/Fiend control/burn decks. More Geth's Verdict to deal with pesky hexproof. And Bojuka Bog to deal with recursion/delve/scavenge and other graveyard antics.

Updates Add

If you are playing MTGO then Hymn to Tourach isn't legal so I would switch those out for some Ravenous Rats instead.

This will be getting an update soon
