jwryals82 originally that is what this deck pretty much was. But I felt that the badger just wasn't as useful if a game got dragged out. So took him out for Arbor Colossus. And I've never been a fan of Boon Satyr So going with Reverent Hunter for now to see how I like em.

I'm really not sure Hero of Leina Tower is good in this deck... She's the only heroic creature, and with only 11 ways to target her, it seems a little unreliable. I agree that if you're going to run Kalonian Tusker AND Swordwise Centaur for the devotion, Burning-Tree Emissary is another 2-mana devotion booster.

marioaran...I've found that Hero of Leina Tower isn't too bad. Though I have been considering replacing her with Experiment One , just to see how it would run.
My only issues with Burning-Tree Emissary is that I can't use her turn 2 to play into any other 2 drop. And as things stand I would probably take out the Swordwise Centaur for Burning-Tree Emissary . And past turn 5 I would rather top deck a 3/2 than a 2/2.

I have a mono-green deck, too: Legit Mono-Green Burn (Is That Even Possible?). You should check it out.

i like Arbor Colossus instead of Kalonian Hydra , the hydra marks a big target on his back while the colossus is subtle yet effective, and stops Nightveil Specter . If not main board i think side board worthy at least. He also has very nice devotion.

I would drop Experiment One for Sylvan Caryatid and Swordwise Centaur for Burning-Tree Emissary

Garruk, Caller of Beasts is a must for a green deck over 24 creatures. He keeps you drawing your creatures, which is something that green usually lacks.

Hornet Queen + Setessan Tactics is a great way to take out any threats standing in your way. Definitely something to consider. I don't use Hornet Nest but play 2 queens. I also mainboard 2 Mistcutter Hydra . With trample (from Nylea) and haste, it isn't hard to swing for game the turn it is played.

My mono-green brew is fairly similar. Although is use 2 Hydra Broodmaster as the monstrous quickly takes over the game. If you are going to use Nissa, Worldwaker I would take out the Kalonian Twingrove , as usually you are able to cast it with 4 or so lands in play due to her untap forest, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx + Voyaging Satyr and the Elvish Mystic . I would however board in the Mistcutter Hydra s like angelkreiger suggested, if your opponent is tapped out with Nylea on the board a Mistcutter Hydra with Aspect of Hydra is brutal. You could probably cut the Eidolon of Blossoms even though you have 12 enchantments as it would be better to play threats than card draw in my opinion. Maybe sideboard 2.

Thanks. Right now I'm just testing out the Kalonian Twingrove and Eidolon of Blossoms . In the long run the twingrove most likely won't be staying in the deck, though I'm probably going to keep the eidolons in the deck for the time being. I took the deck to my LGS's $2 standard event today and was rather pleased with eidolon as it helped close out 2 of my games and there wasn't a time where I felt it was a dead card in hand.
I'm definitely going to be putting Nissa, Worldwaker in the deck once I get my hands on a few copies. And Mistcutter Hydra has been switched between main and side so many times. Right I have no idea what I would be comfortable taking out to put a few of them in the main, so I'm just going to leave them in side for now.

I toyed around with Kalonian Twingrove as well, it seems so cool! Unfortunately, as AngelofSerenity said, it often felt very underpowered because with the mana ramp often it is played before I had built up a good number of Forests.
Also, Setessan Tactics + Hornet Queen can be a pretty cool combo. Great way to take out opponents blockers.

You should think about Heroes' Bane because with mana ramps it skyrockets so fast since you can activate it's ability multiple times in one turn. as for another bonus for the ramp is Karametra's Acolyte since its a creature version of Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and isn't legendary.

I'm not sure about the Karametra's Acolyte at that point in the game threats are better. I'd rather play a Polukranos, World Eater on turn 3 than an acolyte. Which you have to wait a turn to activate anyways
August 22, 2014 4:48 p.m.
Yeah Karametra's Acolyte is to slow. It would be coming out turn 3 or 4 and that is when I want to be playing threats, not still setting up to play them. Also I'm not a fan of Heroes' Bane . When it comes down to it, it is just a big beat stick that doesn't bring anything else to the table. I might try it when Kalonian Hydra rotates out and if khans doesn't have any new fun toys.

I would make room for 4x Voyaging Satyr . Its too good with nykthos to pass up. Also. Fated Intervention is really good in this deck. I would run probably just a one or two of, since you can't genesis hydra it. Other than that, the deck seems sweet!
October 5, 2014 4:11 p.m.
At the moment I am actually trying out Voyaging Satyr in the deck simply because I do not have any Sylvan Caryatid . What I may end up doing is keeping the 4 voyagings and stick just 2 sylvans in. Since the idea of running 12 dedicated mana dorks really does not appeal to me. Also I really don't feel like Fated Intervention has a place in this deck. I want as many targets as possible for both Genesis Hydra and Chord of Calling . And as you said both of those cards can't hit an instant.
And I'm splashing black because Doomwake Giant
absolutely melts boards.
