Well, it's definitely helpful as it will be ver effective with tokens out, turning them all into 2/2's. The only thing I can think of is maybe take out one of the hanweir militia captains as it requires only certain conditions which will only get order if you add the Oath. My recommendation is one less Oath of Gideon, one less Servo Exhibition and one less Hanweir Militia Captain Flip. You can also go the +1/+1 counters route, like I did. Selesnya Counters Aether Revolt

Hey pdemi! Thanks for your suggestions! I think I'm heading more for the humans subtheme in bant-colors, since it allows awesome cards like reflector mage and tamiyo. Therefore I try to play more planeswalker to get the value from casting-cost-reduction rather than a go-wide-themeI like your deck and I appreciate the idea of playing oviya. If you plan on going hard on the token-theme, why dont you add one or two abbeys?

Captain's Claws and From Beyond are both great ways to make tokens. That being said your deck needs some removal. Angelic Purge would work well since you have so many tokens, as will Collective Effort and Blessed Alliance. Nissa's Judgment and Shoulder to Shoulder would also fit nicely as well. My biggest fear for your deck would be like Radiant Flames and Declaration in Stone as they will wipe a huge chunk of your board in one shot. Radiant Flames you can get around if your creatures get big enough fast, but Declaration in Stone will be rough going.

hey Hyperalgialysis what would you recommend removing from the deck to fit

2 Plains 1 Forest 2 Oviya Pashiri, Sage Lifecrafter all 3 Sylvan Advocate all 3 Oath of Nissa your curve is basically 4 with a pair of cards being 6 so I think 22 lands would be pretty safe. The creatures I suggested while one is great because it gets bigger later it is off theme and doesnt help you go wide. The other is a legend, you don't want to see them all the time. Since you are 2 colors, the oath isn't doing much except replacing itself and that isn't really an issue with copter. I also think you should replace 2 Forest and 2 Plains with Fortified Village

Okay so get rid of 2 Plains a Forest 2 Oviya Pashiri, Sage Lifecrafter and all 3 Sylvan Advocate

I would drop Oath of Nissa before anything since you don't need the color fixing. It is your deck though, and you know your meta. You may find that without any of those cards you are missing something and have to put it back. Those suggestions are based on what I would do, specifically to deal with things I see at my lgs.

No problem. Do not take this as mean, but this will do poorly at game day. This would probably be ok for fnm and be something people might not be able to handle. Game day is going to be full of tier 1 decks with very well thought out sideboards. That isn't to say you can't win a game day with a homebrew, it should probably just be built with the plan to handle the most recent top 8 as a lot of players will be running those decks. If you do take this, your sideboard is going to need artifact/enchantment removal and a way to deal with planeswalkers for sure. As to what you should put in for defense, I would wager that your deck should be on the attack for the most part and won't need much in the way of defenders. A very good card you can throw in is Greenwarden of Murasa as a sideboard 2 or 3 of. It will be handy against removal heavy decks. The only other possible sideboard strategy I cam come up with is make game 2 all about walkers and eldrazi. Plan on taking out some token makers and replacing them with Ruin in Their Wake Natural Connection and ending the game with Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and Void Winnower. Throws your opponent completely off base to sideboard to a different strategy.

Hi Pdemi559,
Nice list. I am currently making trying to make my own GW token list to prepare for Aether Revolt as well. You can see my list at G/W Token Friends AER. My list focuses mainly on super friends. It uses the oaths in order to get the cards that i need and get my walkers out faster. The creatures are primarily for protecting the tokens and the artifacts are for defending the walkers and attacking. Any advice would be great.

Maybe 2 of each. Variety is always better since it decreases your chances of a "dead" card. Since both depend on you have some sort of board anyway, I think 2 of each in the main and 1 more of each in the side should work nicely

I just playtested one of my decks against this deck. The only creatures I drew were Thraben Inspector, but with the tokens, counters, and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar buffs, those 2 Inspectors lasted the whole game and gave my deck fits. +1 that was hella crazy great job

You should probably actually build the deck first.
