Originally an Izzet spellslinger deck originally I was building around the time the Mizzix precon flooded my locals with that archetype. I responded by working in white to help differentiate it a little bit. While it does helm itself with Narset, Enlightened Master, I've sharply limited the amount of extra turn/combat spells to avoid this spreading into that genrally unfun for the table direction. Instead, the deck focuses a lot of modal spells to give it interaction while still having value from casting the spells on my turn off Narset. Rounding out this is a small number of creatures that all care greatly about being in a deck with 30+ instants and sorceries.

In addition, the addition of plains gives the deck a stronger token generating capability, letting it block and play to the board better than a pure Izzet deck regularly does.
