Use sliver overlord to fetch whichever sliver you need. the slivers get more powerful with everyone one that enters the field. exponential growth, and the slivers to keep opponents at bay while your army gets massive.

other combinations are the Mycosynth Lattice and Darksteel Forge to make everything indestructible, with Witchbane Orb making you untouchable. its expensive but when you have Manaweft Sliver or Gemhide Sliver on the field and a Sliver Queen mana is in abundant supply.
