Sideboard

This deck is a Jeskai Amulet deck designed to capitalize off of abandoned sarcophagus for late game card advantage and grinding away at decks like Grixis Control, which doesn't usually run graveyard hate in the sideboard, much less mainboard. In addition, the mainboard contains multiple wipes, plentiful removal, and even a few counters. The wipes are essentially there for merfolk and especially mono Red (RIP Ramunap Ruins). I'll be playtesting this sometime during the following two weeks and I'll post the results against mono Red and Grixis Control at least. Maybe Merfolk as well. Amulet is the main way that value can be ground out in mid to late game against even approach decks.

Update 6/11/18: I've been testing this deck against two of the main decks in the current meta: red/black (basically red) aggro and white/blue control. The decklists were the recent PT decklists pulled from mtggoldfish. White/blue was a breeze. I'm not sure whether my opponent who was helping me test was horrible at deciding when to mulligan, got bad draws, or just couldn't keep up, but victories were pretty consistent. Syncopate was an absolute pain, but aside from that, games proved very manageable, especially when the opponent didn't have a cast out for either of my artifacts, amulet and sarcophagus. It stalemated to late turns and then I would burn to win.
