Considering adding cards like Contagion Clasp and Contagion Engine to maybe play more with Wither/Infect and other -1/-1 counters as well as boost my planeswalkers. I am not sure if this is too slow, thoughts?

Some things to consider:

Demonic Tutor is a better version of Diabolic Tutor

Extraplanar Lens wouldn't be a bad option for extra mana doubling, though I'm not sure what you would take out. Maybe just replace the Gauntlet of Power with it. If you do go with the lens, remember that snow lands have a different name than non-snow lands and therefore can help make the lens effect one-sided.

You've got a lot of ramp and a lot of kill spells. Given that, I'd consider Rise of the Dark Realms as a good secondary win-con.

Depending on how worried about regeneration vs. planeswalkers you are, In Garruk's Wake might be a better choice than Plague Wind but that depends a lot upon how much green/regenerate your playgroup has in it.

Having some extra draw power would also be nice. A Mind's Eye or a Staff of Nin can go a long way if the game starts to drag out.

Thanks for the help!

Extraplanar Lens will be going in. I'll probably remove a card like Seal of Doom which only has a 1 time, non-black application.

Demonic Tutor is one of those cards that I struggle justifying $20 for two mana (essentially) especially when my deck generates such large amounts in the first place.

The other cards, great suggestions. I am going to definitely consider some switches!

Drana is STACKED stax control Drana. I thought I might offer it up as something for your consideration. Also Drana + Horobi, Death's Wail becomes Drana the 2 mana machine gun.

Ooooh, Horobi, Death's Wail looks fun as all hell. Fits the flavor for sure! Thanks for that! Checking out your deck right now! Looks really awesome.

Glad you like it. She was my first commander. I've been playing control with her for a long time. (I've got a Zendikar print version) and I always love seeing her used in control.

Where is Contamination? The best soft lock black can provide for Commander!

If he's going to run Contamination I'd run it alongside Bitterblossom and or Reassembling Skeletonor Nether Traitor preferably all.

Not only that, my playgroup isn't trying to play Blood Moon effects or combos that just 'win the game'. So while these are out there, I tend to avoid them.

Sure, if I am playing randos at my local card shop, Contamination goes in, but this reflects the deck as I play it in my basement with my friends.

+1 I like the deck :)

Some suggestions I have:

Steel Hellkite: Black doesn't any removal for enchantments or artifacts, so this helps alot.

Exquisite Blood: Maybe I just really like this card, but in a multiplayer EDH game this gains you tons of life :)

Lashwrithe: Use it on Drana or pump up another creature.

Rings of Brighthearth: Double Drana's ability to destroy 2 creatures AND pump her even more.

SupremeRNB, thanks for the suggestions! Sorry it took me a while for some feedback; I've been fairly inactive on this site for the past few months.

I really like the idea of Steel Hellkite.

Exquisite Blood is a card that has come in and out of several of my decks. On one hand it gains you a ton of life, but on the other it does nothing to affect my opponents board state OR prevent commander damage. I constantly go back and forth on it.

Lashwrithe & Rings of Brighthearth are what I call 'win more' cards in this particular deck. With ramp, I am very commonly able to kill an opponent in 1 swing. The issue will usually be thier removal... which neither of these cards prevent. With 19 mana (and that's not hard for this deck) Drana is lethal. Period. That said, I'd consider the Rings before the lash!

Thanks for commenting!

gobucks I completely agree with Exquisite Blood not doing alot, but I just really like it :P And Rings of Brighthearth is really good because it can also double planeswalker abilities, it won me a lot of games. But do wat you want with your deck and make it so that you have a lot of fun with it :D
