The above synergies aren't there anymore. Auramancer is still in the deck but that goal seems kind of lost now. Has the vision of the deck changed too far?
Landing a turn 1 Thraben Inspector is a huge deal now. This is my explanation for the Plains count. In my testing games I have never had issues with B and W balance, outside of my own mistakes. The most skill-testing part of this is knowing what to float in the event you need to use a bounceland to pay for Night's Whisper or Read the Bones. I made this mistake often in early playtesting and ended up with uncastable Journies, for example.
My largest question right now is: is any of this mainboard removal simply worse than Unmake? Is any of it generally worse than Sunlance? Sunlance currently lives in the sideboard but can be shifted to maindeck if necessary. I have not seen many Bogles, so the necessity of Edict is questionable.
Second, though Seeker of the Way is a wincon all on its own, how many Gurmag Anglers would you add, if any?
Seeker of the Way becomes Pauper-legal on November 17th, 2017. This deck is in preparation for that. Local testing grounds allow this, and this deck isn't being used in sanctioned events right now, so don't worry about that.
