Have you thought about Assault Suit? Makes Zurgo indestructible on every persons turn, and lets other opponents drop commander damage on each other with your commander.

That is a very good idea worth finding space in the deck to test.

although it takes effect at upkeep which means the Assault Suit doesn't protect against instant speed spot removal

True, but I feel that small hole in the armor is worth putting your opponents on a faster clock.

btw, you got lots of ramp. like, LOTS of ramp, but not enough draw. Tower of Fortunes, Font of Mythos, and Damnable Pact would help. also, more creatures would help out, specifically Chancellor of the Annex, Darksteel Colossus, Blazing Archon, Spelltithe Enforcer would all be great.

All I want to do is play zurgo and smash everyone in the face as fast as possible. Nothing else, I dont want or need any other creature. The deck is very all in and tempo based.

well, do you play multiplayer?

yes, and I know what you're thinking but that is just how I do with this deck.

I'm just saying, you're a big target with what you're running and those might help, especially the archon. at least put it in maybe, jus tthink on it.

also, Champion's Helm and Tenza, Godo's Maul are great for this deck.

Darksteel Plate? Deviant Glee? Temur Battle Rage? Magnetic Theft? Also I agree with Tenza, Godo's Maul and Champion's Helm giving Zurgo trample or hexproof can't be beat.

you know it is worth it to look into combat tricks for zurgo. the enchantments are worth looking into as well. thanks for the tips.
