Started to play last summer

Why only cards from Theros set? Boros Reckoner would be a good replacement for Anax and Cymede .

a playset of Boros Charm would do this deck really well, but you would have to go outside of theros/m14

I got two reasons why I don't use cards from the Return to Ravnica block.

1. I am newbie! I started to play a year ago when m14 came out! Therefor, I see no reason to go back to Return to Ravnica when I should focus on Theros which is the latest block.

2. 3 months from now, I won't be able to use Return to Ravnica cards in standard and then they are useless for me as I am newbie and don't got many cards and therefor I won't have a chance in modern/legacy.

I put the suggested cards in the maybeboard because then (hopefully) people won't talk about Boros and his gang.

Nice deck but somehow you need more spells to target your creatures, i would most definitly use boros charm and take that pegasus.. maybe some boros reckoner could be very nice

My brother plays this type of deck and it drives me crazy! For a heroic deck, you need a lot of creatures who come out low and get better over time from your crazy amount of instants and sorceries. Desperate Stand A great heroic trigger early and late game and it gives you life if you need it. Satyr Hoplite Is a good one-drop that can get stronger over time. Hold at Bay This card could solve your problems with burn decks and activate heroic at instant speed. Cavalry Pegasus Since most of your creatures are humans, this card could help you win in some cases. Flying is always nice. Thunder Strike Gives you first strike and +2 power, which could help on turn 2 with a Satyr Hoplite or your Akroan Crusader . Aegis of the Gods This could also help against burn decks since they say "target player" and hexproof stops something from being targeted by spells. Ordeal of Purphoros Playing off of your Ordeal of Heliod , this card also activates heroic and burning isn't too bad, either. Ethereal Armor If you ever change your mind about Ravnica, Ethereal Armor is great for any deck that has enchantments in it, and Iroas, God of Victory is an enchantment. +1 for each enchantment is nothing to scoff at. I don't really play Red-White and most of my brothers cards are from the Return to Ravnica block or are enchantments like Eidolon of Countless Battles . +1

I am considering replace Titan's Strength with Ordeal of Purphoros .

Cavalry Pegasus was a part of this deck a few days ago but then I realized that soldier wasn't humans. I removed it because I thought it was a bit weak and with Arena Athlete you were still able to be unblockable!

I don't understand what Aegis of the Gods would do against burn decks. When facing burn decks am I trying to secure the soldiers, not myself. I think I got the solution, Hall of Triumph ! All my creatures are red besides the soldiers I'll get from Launch the Fleet .

Satyr Hoplite ... What card should it replace?

first, you mostly need 4x Boros Charm on your mainboard.. activates heroic, gives doublestrike, 4damage on player, or make your creatures indesctrutible, it will make your opponnent think twice before burn your creatures.. remove a iroas cause its legendary,. Arena Athlete its not a very nice card for this deck, you should consider removing it.. you should probaly run 21 lands...Eidolon of Countless Battles should be on your mainboard. Desperate Stand is great for winning a game maybe a few enchantments could do great for you.., and protection can activate your heroic, and protect your creatures

Eidolon is as aura, desperate stand can give +2 damage to a bunch of creatures, cast it on Anax and Cymede for the lolz... and you get firststrike and vigilance wich kicks ass, cause you can attack and defend later, plus the firststrike is AWESOME

Sorry to say this, Desperate Stand sucks! It is a SORCERY! And who cares about vigilance in a (semi-)aggro deck!

hmm sory for the commendation, but i think you realy need precinct captain and eidolon,.. he should mainly be used as an aura, cause its only one mana more and it actvates heroic, and if the creature dies you get him bac

22 lands does seem like a lot to me in an aggressive deck like this, maybe drop one and add another Eidolon of Countless Battles ? Also, has Ordeal of Purphoros been that good? I would imagine that Ajani's Presence would be a better card in the mainboard.

Akroan Line Breaker + Ordeal of Purphoros Really good combo if you can trigger his heroic ability twice after the first attack! 21 damage! Unblockable! First 5 dmg, then 6 dmg and last 7 dmg + 3 dmg. Therefor, maybe I should add another Akroan Line Breaker instead of an another Eidolon of Countless Battles

I guess you don't like the hoplite because it's a too heavy/big creature for this deck. Though I think it's a good 1-drop. Please suggest another card to replace it.

I like it. Heroic is a fun mechanic. If you're looking for a little protection and a scry, Gods Willing is always a good bet, helps keep a guy safe, triggers heroic and gets you a scry 1 in the process.

Gods Willing is a good spell. Maybe I'll replace Ajani's Presence with it because I think scry 1 is better then +1 power for one turn.

The bad thing about Gods Willing is that it isn't aggressive, no power boost.
