Originally I had intended on my Mono-Red deck being Balthor, the Stout, Dwarf tribal! Buuuut after some careful consideration I realized that Balthor was a barbarian general, and Dwarves are not really that playable... So after discussing with Jason Shaffer, he told me about a deck idea that he always wanted to try but decided against, because he had already built Mono-Red Krenko. An EDH burn deck, using Kumano, Master Yamabushi. Not only does he burn exceptionally well, he also completely eliminates threats by exiling them. This deck was the second of the decks I decided to build after the Wildfire Retreat. And boy is there plenty of fire. This has quickly become one of my favorite decks in my playgroup because no one expects the red burn deck to actually do anything in a multiplayer game. They are quite wrong.
