Used to be Abzan Maverick with a Tropical Island thrown in for a Leovold, Emissary of Trest, bust since Deathrite Shaman got banned we're going back to the classics.

This is mostly GW, but I'm loathe to remove the black completely because of the wealth of sideboard options that I'd lose.

Keeping the black also makes it more advantageous to use Birds of Paradise rather than Noble Hierarchs, especially since I don't own any Hierarchs and they're a wee bit pricey these days.

The sideboard definitely needs work, and I'm not sure if I want 2 Ramunap Excavators or Renegade Ralliers, but all suggestions and discussion would be appreciated.
