Hello! Welcome to Mana Mastery for the EDH format!

This is a deck based off of the Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 deck of the same name.

The deck plays early and cheap interaction with multicolored finishers. It also looks to use green ramp to color fix. Some self imposed restrictions on this deck are that I want to keep it as multicolored as possible and as light on non-basic lands as possible. Due to the fact that its going to be impossible for this deck to function without mono green spells however, I have allowed some mono colored spells into the deck while making sure that all 5 colors get at least a single mono colored spell.

This is no longer the case and has sparked interest in adding some legends to the deck that I previously was not keen on adding due to previous reliance on clones.

Version 3.0b

This deck continues to be a fun and effective deck at casual tables despite how much the format has changed since 2016, however I foresee many changes to this deck. First off I have to check for more efficient ramp, (Search for Tomorrow might be on it's last leg) I need to upgrade my Mystical Tutor to a Vampiric Tutor, I need to upgrade the Panoramas to the new Landscapes and lastly I need another efficient beater like Broodmate Dragon.

I originally built this deck for under $100 but some cards have shot up in price/I have put some more expensive cards in. Here is a budget version you make to keep the deck under $100. Mana Mastery Budget

I have also added a decklist for all of the cards I have tested over the years Mana Mastery's Trash Pile.

Updates Add

Today I decided to shake this deck up a little and try some of the new charms even if I don't think they are very good.

I also have been telling myself to put more creatures/threats in the deck just for fun's sake so this is a potentially worse list for the current changes.

I have also added a decklist for all of the cards I have tested over the years Mana Mastery's Trash Pile

Cuts:

Serum Visions

Bring to Light

Crackling Doom

Jund Charm

Abzan Charm

Windgrace's Judgment

Scion of Draco

Additions:

Arcum's Astrolabe

Obscura Charm

Maestros Charm

Riveteers Charm

Phyrexian Metamorph

Godsire

Kalonian Hydra

Semen Visionsfoil is certainly stronger than Arcum's Astrolabe because of the lack of recursion, actually it's even worse because this deck is currently poised to be able to recur instants and sorceries but not artifacts. I want to test out some additional fixing though so here we are. I had a hard time Bring to Light made tutoring too common and it couldn't grab big creatures or enchantments which made it an easy cut for more threats. Crackling Doom and Windgrace's Judgment were cut to make room for more threats as well. Jund Charm and Abzan Charm are two of the weaker charms that easily made room for the SNC charms. Notably Kalonian Hydra is a mono colored creature but it is one of the few cards that I currently have that functions great with or without clones and straight up kills the table with Rite of Replicationfoil especially with haste. Godsire is terrible idk what I am doing.
