Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Ideally, you want to give all of your opponents a poison counter (via Prologue to Phyresis, etc.) as soon as possible, because then you get 1/10 of the simultaneously killing all your opponents every time you proliferate. As the game goes on, Atraxa, Praetors' Voice will passively accumulate more poison counters on your opponents, more charge counters on your mana sources, and more loyalty on your planeswalkers, so you'll likely become the most immediate threat as the game goes on. Try to stock up on boardwipes like Supreme Verdict, Phyresis Outbreak, and Farewell to buy yourself enough time to poison everyone to death and protect your planeswalkers. Alternatively, cleverly timing planeswalker casts and proliferates might let you cast Dovin Baan, Narset Transcendent, Venser, the Sojourner, Tamiyo, Field Researcher, etc. and use their ultimate on the same turn --- completely shutting most (or all) of your opponents out of the game and virtually guaranteeing your victory.

Other tips:

  • You only need one charge counter on Mage-Ring Network to start proliferating. However, Lighthouse Chronologist is typically a big target because it can win the game if it reaches level 7, so it's often still worth it to pay to put counters on manually if you have to
  • Yes, Lighthouse Chronologist gives you as many extra turns as you'd hope (until someone kills it, which usually happens immediately). From the rulings: "In a four-player game, if you have a level 7 Lighthouse Chronologist and there are no other extra-turn effects, the game will proceed like this (with extra turns in brackets): your turn, opponent A's turn, [your turn], opponent B's turn, [your turn], opponent C's turn, [your turn], your turn, opponent A's turn, and so on. The same principle applies to a multiplayer game with a different number of players." If this guy somehow survives to level 7 and you start taking extra turns, you've basically won the game
  • Make sure you always leave at least one charge counter on Vivid Creek and the other lands from that cycle --- once they're gone, they're gone (unless it somehow re-enters the battlefield, but nothing in this deck can do that)
  • Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider will double the amount of counters placed on a walker by using its loyalty abilities. However, Doubling Season's very specific wording ("If an effect would put...") means that it won't double the amount of loyalty counters put on a planeswalker from using loyalty abilities, because it isn't an effect that puts those counters on --- technically, it's a cost. However, Ajani Unyielding's -9 is an effect, so it will have its counters affected by both Vorinclex and Doubling Season --- same with proliferation, or stuff like Mage-Ring Network's stockpiling ability, etc.
  • Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider and Doubling Season's effects stack multiplicatively (when they both apply --- see above), so if you have them both and use an effect to put counters on a permanent, you would put four counters on rather than any other amount
  • Archmage Ascension can turn into an extraordinary toolbox, allowing you to search for whichever walkers, boardwipes, or other cards you need to close out the game. It can be tempting to forget to add the counters from its ability after you get one counter and start proliferating --- try to remember!
  • Ichormoon Gauntlet can help you proliferate very quickly, but that might not meaningfully affect the board state. It often is more useful to use another loyalty ability, which means Ichormoon Gauntlet isn't always a big value add.
