my dorm floors meta is basically just this deck with slight variances. Kambal, Consul of Allocation is so annoying to fight against, Kambal chicken noodle soup with extra salt as we refer to him. one of my friend plays this but with things cards that make it so you have to pay mana to attack for each creature, he calls it his jew fort (he is jewish).

+1

i made a deck specifically to fight against this kind of deck, my ob nixilis deck. ive changed it quite a bit since i made it, but its still effective in our games. while other people focus the one or two life gain deck and get them down (or try to) and fight each other, my deck just grows and gains like 50 life a turn late game. then my demons mop up the survivors. very fun games.

Tainted Sigil may be of some use?

3InchMeatMonster thanks for the comment! Sounds like fun, the reason I play this deck is my play group is extremely aggressive towards aggressive decks. So this is a perfect combo of being passive and aggressive without drawing attention to myself.

Love the concept of passive draining, working on a semaler deck with Divinity of Pride.

Another very cool gain and drain deck. This deck brought Authority of the Consuls to my attention, and I've added it to my own Orzhov gain and drain. Also putting a copy in the Esper Commander precon deck I'm tweaking with Oloro, Ageless Ascetic as general. Big +1!

What about Anguished Unmaking instead of Mortify you'll probably have the life to spare.

Exquisite Blood would be perfect in this deck, not to mention an instant win when combined with Sanguine Bond :)

SpectraDevil I have had that suggested before. I don't use it because I don't like infinite combos, I don't find them all that fun to play against and play. But I appreciate the suggestion nonetheless! ;)

Try adding Exquisite Blood.

Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond is a feedback loop that will kill everyone but you...

You gain life, which takes life, which gains life, which takes life, etc...

Exquisite Blood also works with Cliffhaven Vampire
