The life-force of this deck really goes to Tainted Remedy. Not everything in the deck revolves around the concept of giving your opponents life, but I believed that it would be a very enjoyable and useful card to play.
This deck was not made with the intents of going competitive, just a fun idea crafted completely out of curiosity, thanks to Alms Beast. I also have a friend who loves to run 3-4 Whip of Erebos, which I am tired of playing against, haha. I'm wanting to keep the price close to the $100-$150 range.
Key theme(s): create an overwhelming board presence while shutting down the opponents ability to gain life and then nuking them with lifegain.
Win-cons include Blood Baron of Vizkopa and Alms Beast, two guys that can hand out lethal damage if not dealt with properly. Beacon of Immortality + Tainted Remedy, an instant kill. Last, but not least, Westvale Abbey
+Athreos, God of Passage would surely do them in.
To keep the board-state in our favor, Athreos, God of Passage keeps a solid footing on our creatures unless our opponent wants to spare three life per creature. Wrath of God is great paired with Athreos, God of Passage
Worship will keep us from dying as long as we keep a creature on the battlefield.
Condemn will help keep pesty creatures away while potentially dealing out a good amount of damage.
Diabolic Tutor and Dimir Machinations will suffice for card fetching.
Phyrexian Arena for reliable card draw.

The potential for Tainted Remedy is unhinged. Hope you like the concept, I ordered the deck recently and will be play-testing it often to see if it needs to be tweaked. I am currently considering potential cards for a draw mechanism, as the deck might play a little slow. Thanks for checking the deck out, feedback and ideas are welcome!
