@jensei

Definitely Elemental Bond and Garruk's Packleader

Evolutionary Leap works pretty well -- running it with genesis, its pretty great

Evolutionary Leap is something I've considered but I only run 18 actual creatures.

Elemental Bond is obvious, I already have a foil one lol. Just deciding whether I want to replace Kavu Lair (I like helping opponents a little just to make me less of a target) or Life's Legacy. I don't particularly like Garruk's Packleader simply because creatures are easier to remove.

That's the whole point of Evolutionary Leap -- you sacrifice a token to find one of your few creatures. I understand not wanting to run it though.

Creatures are also easier to recur

Harmonize could provide the missing card-draw for your deck

Something you might want to do is substitute a Kodama's Reach / Cultivate with Nissa's Pilgrimage

Yeah I'd been looking at that card. Need to get a foil one before I swap one out :P

Yeah the foil is pretty nice, lol.

I'd definitely go Momentous Fall over Life's Legacy. Yes, it's a bit slower, but the instant speed is vital.

hmmmmm not quite sure but you should consider some other cards

Oblivion Sower - for a chance of stealing your opp lands ;) but i dont know if u can use f.e. mountain that you will steal etcmaybe another killerbee with trample? Terravore in old time i used to love that creature and other "vore" :D

What's your graveyard normally like? Would Far Wanderings be able to get the threshold bonus very often? If so, I would like to put it forward as as a recommendation.

Oblivion Sower is definitely an interesting card, but it isn't strictly better than anything i already have nor does it do enough to warrant putting it in over something else.

Terravore is one of the cards in the earliest build of this deck. It was cut a long time ago because it's just a single generic fatty that is easy for opponents to deal with.

I actually have a foil copy of Far Wanderings and have been debating for a while if I should run it over Cultivate or Kodama's Reach. Never really decided one way or the other.

I'd probably include Mwonvuli Acid-Moss if it were an instant. However, this is a card I've often overlooked as it says "Forest," not "Basic Forest." This might be something I'll include in a three color deck to fetch out those duals, shocks, or tangos.

BFZ additions: The new Undergrowth Champion could fit you well. Master of Cruelties attacking? Blightsteel Colossus locked on you? Nope! Personally, I would think that the new Retreat to Kazandu would be better for you than the zendikar deer creature, since it's more flexible and able to make your land creatures scarier, and because it's not a creature...

Also after looking at some other lists there are some awesome options for cards for you - Boundless Realms in monogreen is hilarious (especially with landfall), Mox Diamond gets you more mana early and a land you can recur faster. Any one of Caged Sun, Gauntlet of Power, and Mana Reflection can get you to be scarier earlier. Restore is a one-shot Titania to get ANY land from ANYONE. Creeping Corrosion as well as Bane of Progress can be awesome vs any non-green deck since they rely on artifacts for mana.

Perilous Forays is usually offered to token decks, but it just feels like it's going to be very scary here.

Other than that, I do really like this list. Good job on assembling everything!

This is pretty much a combo deck. While all of the cards you suggested are pretty good on their own, they're just too slow for what I want to do or don't serve enough purpose to warrent cutting something else for them. The only exceptions are Restore and Mox Diamond. Restore is something I've considered for a while now to steal other player's Cabal Coffers (black is dominent in my playgroup). Mox Diamond was in an earlier build of the deck and it's something I've long wanted to put back in, but I can't decide on what to cut.

Ummm, I was just wondering as I was playtesting the deck, why there isn't a Craterhoof Behemoth. I went to Tooth and Nail with a ton of tokens and didn't find anything to outright win.Maybe an Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre or Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, or possibly Kozilek, Butcher of Truth would be a good idea because the deck ramps so hard anyways. Just an idea though, I love Titania to death (:

I've left out Craterhoof Behemoth mainly out of personal preference. I've never really liked cards that basically say "you insta-win." I'd rather build a massive board presence through comboing out numbers rather than dropping one card. Though I could easily put him in if I ever play in a tournament.

I have a Kozilek, Butcher of Truth that I'm now considering putting in, mainly for the card draw and shuffle mechanic. There have been a few games where I've decked myself after digging too deep with Greater Good for combos or safety nets. I'm also considering Primal Command and Elixir of Immortality for the same reason.

Perhaps Perilous Forays? Since you should have lots of elementals sitting around, you can sacrifice them to get more land - either as standard ramp, or to set up further self-LD shenanigans.

How about adding Ambush Commanderfor the combo glory?

October 31, 2015 4:35 p.m.

CastleSiege says... #22

Ambush Commander was in the earliest build but ended up being a problem. I want to be the only one blowing up my lands. It hurts when someone plays a wrath effect while Ambush Commander is on the field.

Command Beacon + Food Chain

Useless combo piece? Not with the amount of tokens that you generate! it's a mono green Phyrexian Altar, that has some other uses

November 21, 2015 9:57 p.m.

CastleSiege says... #24

Command Beacon is definitely going in once I figure out what I want to cut for it. Now it seems Food Chain should go in too lol.
