My take on the Jund lists playing 4 Bloodbraid Elf. Many of the lists I've seen cut waaay too low on removal to maximize the effectiveness of cascade.

In fact, most of these decks run just 3-4 copies combined of Fatal Push, Terminate/Dreadbore, and Maelstrom Pulse. As I quickly learned in testing, this is a recipe for getting run over before Bloodbraid Elf matters, even by other midrange decks. And let me tell you, Elf isn't very good when you're casting it hoping to cascade into a relevant removal spell (when you're barely running any in the first place).

So instead, I'm running 6 of these removal spells (compared to the 8 I was running in the pre-Bloodbraid build).
