Karn, the Great Creator teams up with Orcish Bowmasters and Opposition Agent to destroy the Legacy meta. Who can stop them?

The original list by Will Kowalczyk was my starting point. Piloting the list I overlooked how utilizing Sol lands for the backup plan of recurring Grief, Oppo, Bowmaster with Agadeem's Awakening was brilliant. Just something I wanted to highlight.

As I see the Legacy meta post-MH3 and post-Grief ban, Beseech the Mirror is just dead to Vexing Bauble in my most matchups. That was a direction that was probably the best to go but, we are Vexed. Bauble's floor is stopping Daze and Force, but the skies the limit. Makes me averse to playing Endless Ones and Eldrazi Mimics too. Maybe VB should be 4x in this list, but I wouldn't wanna mess with some of the synergies we have. Wasteland 4x seems to be back to popularity as well, so that's the main reason we dropped to 2 City of Traitors. I wonder if Takenuma shouldn't just be a Swamp as well. There are still a lot of paths for T2 4 drops with Chrome Mox or Dark Ritual and a Swamp, plus 1 Sol land. Good old Thoughtseize and Hymn to Tourach was what I had my eye on at first. I think Profane is more useful than Agadeem's Awakening as we are slowing games down by playing Hymn, it's not as explosive with less Sol lands, but mostly we lost Grief RIP, and the creature count is lower for now.

After a hot tip I agree that Fatal Push and Sheoldred's Edict as a 2-1 split is more competitive than Hymn to Tourach. The format is full of Frogs and Drazi and Goblin Shamans and Goblin Welders and all sorts of little Pushable annoyances that will be a problem for not only our life total, but Karn as well. However, if you just loooove Hymn like myself, I'd look to cut from the 2 Fatal Push, Sheoldred's Edict, and 1 Orcish Bowmaster, or perhaps a City of Traitors since there's more double Black and we are slowly ourselves and hopefully our opponent down too by the will of Tourach. Dino Hunter.

Sideboarding: Always consider boarding out 4 Karn, the "wish" portion isn't as large as it seems. Artifacts just happen to be really good in Legacy. Sometimes you actually want to just go 4x Karn out, Helm, One Ring, 2 relevant artifacts in, plus whatever else. Sometimes you keep Karn, and you still wanna bring in Chalice and Trinisphere bc it's a waste of good wish in that kind of matchup. That's the secret of Karn, you still actually have versatile Sideboarding but the false dichotomy of wishboard and sideboard not intuitive. If Karn is disrupting their Artifacts, keep all 4 in. If Karn is under creature threat board 4 out. If Karn's static is pretty irrelevant but they would have a hard time getting rid of Karn, keep 2 in. Generally, when I don't have a SB guide that's what I try to remember. I cut Tormod's Crypt because I am mulling for Leyline or Dauthi, idk about yall. Also, Mycosynth Lattice is still great, I just can't decide what I'd cut for it. That's the sort of thing I'd figure out after making a SB plan for the major matchups, I'll update if I figure that out.

*Void Mirror out, Drazi has enough color in the mana base, plus we run Urborg to give it away. Still testing Torpor Orb
