Sideboard

This is a pretty standard take on UR Delver. I do not yet have Scalding Tarns, and have replaced them with Bloodstained Mires. I also have not acquired Snapcaster Mages yet. Grim Lavamancer is tremendous for taking out tokens and other threats (and squeezing some damage in when it has no other targets). Another curious pick for this deck is Rift Bolt.

Rift Bolt seems to play really well when the card is suspended. We don't get value triggers off of Young Pyromancer right away, but it does allow us to control tempo. With a suspended Rift Bolt, the opponent has to play to our tempo. That means throwing out creatures they don't want, or not playing creatures at all (well aware of the incoming bolt). In my games, I've liked it a lot and adds to the charm of this take on the deck.

Updates Add

I removed the Rift Bolts from the deck because I found them to be underperforming. They don't really keep tempo well and I wanted to be a tad bit more aggressive, so I swapped them for Swiftspears.
