Maybeboard

Small project I've been working on. Planning an aggressive aggro deck using Iroas at the helm, and planning to dominate the combat phase through buffs, things like lifelink, vigilance, and first strike, that make attacking into me harder, and make blocking me irritating.

Cards like Waves of Aggression, Aggravated Assault, Hellkite Charger, Aurelia, the Warleader, and Scourge of the Throne make the combat phase go longer so I can deal more damage and get further ahead.

Cards like Lightmine Field and Powerstone Minefield make attacking really hard for my opponents while not affecting me, thanks to Iroas. While the deck is blown out by well-timed removal, I will be counting on my skill as a pilot to circumnavigate blowouts by simply not relying too much on things like Iroas for protection.

Many of the creatures have combat or attack triggers that make leaving them unblocked extremely dangerous. Balefire Dragon and Nobilis of War/Patron of the Akki are powerhouse beaters that make life difficult for those who can't bring themselves to block by quickly chunking them and paying me back in fold.

Stir the Pride deserves special mention mostly because it doesn't give lifelink. It stacks with things like True Conviction or Windbrisk Raptor, making it an extremely potent source of life gain, in addition to the instant speed +2/+2 across my board, which can end a life as quickly as any Savage Beating.

The reason to use Iroas is primarily because of the amount of work he does with regard to the ease of dealing with your attack. Gisela and Aurelia make you deal more damage, but I'm thinking that the best offense is a good defense in this deck. I'd rather have my creatures get in more easily and make them nigh-impossible to trade with than simply get that extra swing, or double my damage. I think the issue with most RW decks is that they try too hard to kill quick, and they don't focus on longevity and end game, which is what I've tried to do more here.

I've a small list of cards on the Maybe list that I think would be interesting to incorporate into the deck, but as it is, I am primarily a Black/Red player, so the White/Red combo isn't very familiar to me. Any solid suggestions are welcomed.
