I'm rather a fan of tribal themes, and rejoined the Magic community around the dawn (dusk?) of OG Innistrad. So, the Queen of the Damned seemed like an excellent choice as a first commander.

Basically, the goal of the deck is to cause problems, because black & red aren't very good at solving them. Game plan is as follows:

1) Play vampires. Bloodline Keeper  , Bloodlord of Vaasgoth, Captivating Vampire, Stromkirk Captain, Vampire Nocturnus, Cavern of Souls, and Anowon, the Ruin Sage all play parts in this game plan.

2) Dominate with Olivia Voldaren. Basilisk Collar turns her into a machine gun, which is a lot of fun if I just want to kill everything. Ramping into plenty of mana helps take problem creatures.

3) Occasionally combo off with Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond .

Support these plans with solid cards like Necropotence, Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth , Phyrexian Arena, Yawgmoth's Will, and others, and you've got a fun time on your hands.

Biggest problems with this deck include the limitation on answers, as most "answers" involve killing creatures, and the general lack of enchantment removal. Thankfully, EDH is a highly creature-heavy meta, usually. Enchantments continue to be issues at times.
