This is a Delver Control deck that utilizes White instead of Black. UB Control is typically seen as the best option for a control deck in Pauper, but there is still plenty of great white spells in Pauper that slot in well with a control strategy, and this deck is exploring those options.

Let's start off with the creatures: Delver of Secrets   needs no explanation, along with Mulldrifter, which is arguably the best card in Pauper right now. Aven Riftwatcher is the creature I chose to slot into the 3 drop. It does many things right, but the Vanishing condition is a major drawback, I'd much rather see creatures in the battlefield to stay (suggestions please!). Finally, I have one Custodi Squire . I know, it is NOT MTGO legal, but I play strictly paper, and this card is a powerhouse! The 5 cmc (same as the Mulldrifter) is what's stopping me from including more.

Next, there needs to be removal. In UB control, it's hard to argue about Chainer's Edict, but I never liked the spell, esp in the late game when in many matches, your opponent has more expendable creatures. Journey to Nowhere is such a great card, it's the Pauper's Path to Exile essentially, targeting anything with accuracy. Sunlance has many targets, but not enough to merit a full playset, as well as Curse of Chains which takes out any large threat...in a way.

Then we'll look at removal: A full playset of Counterspell, duh. The other counters I'm trying is Mana Leak, Logic Knot (very good here, but just one for now), and Hindering Light . It's a sweat little card, but I had to think a bit about it's function, what could it target? For one, it stops Chainer's Edict, Journey to Nowhere, Lightning Bolt (or any burn spells for that matter), it pretty much stops all removal with a bonus of a cantrip. Not bad I'd say, but only one for now, esp. since we're light on creatures, it could help keep them flipped Delvers in play!

Draw: Ponder, Preordain, and one Oona's Grace for a late game mana sink.

Land is fairly typical, but I added one Halimar Depths to play around with. The sideboard right now is a rag-tag assortment of answers to the current meta. When it comes to sideboard options for blue and white, I can see where it would be hard to decide. I was like a kid in a candy shop, so many good options to explore here!
